The academic year 2018-19 triggered off with ‘New Student Orientation’ that was held on 2nd June 2018. The programme commenced with a classical invocation dance by Sanjuktha Menon.

Ms. Anita Iyer then took great pleasure in welcoming the Parents and Students to the portals of CMR Group of Institutions. She was also pleased to share the proudest accomplishments of the outgoing batch including the results of II PUC Board examination.

The new students were then introduced to the wide array of academic, intellectual, leadership, cultural and social experiences available at CMR. The stage was then set for felicitation of II PUC Board Examination toppers. It was a memorable moment for the college and Commerce topper Vaidehi Sivakumar, Science topper Sarah Kauser Ahmed and all the distinction holders who were felicitated by Ms.Trishta Ramamurthy, Vice President, CMR Group of Institutions and Founder & Managing Director, Ekya Schools

Vaidehi Sivakumar, the college topper and Riya Jana one of the distinction holders shared their two years experience while Mr.SivaKumar Balachandran the proud parent of Vaidehi, gave an insight to what it was to be at CMR.

The present II PUC students had their unique conversational way of welcoming their juniors that was followed by a formal presidential address delivered by Ms.Trishta Ramamurthy. Congratulating the students on their achievements she empathized with the parents of their difficulty in setting a career for their children. Encouraging and motivating the aspirants she took great pleasure in introducing the Staff members calling them ‘The Stellar Staff’. The programme concluded with a video presentation focusing solely on the 25 years success story of CMR. The year 2018 has all the earmarks of a milestone year for the Institution.
