Anushka Bose - Interned at Canasu Dream Foundation

“I was given the chance to take part in the World Exposure Programme hosted by the institute and it was an amazing experience. I worked at Canasu Dream Foundation as an intern. As someone with zero work experience it really helped me boost my practical skills. Not to forget, it helped me gain a lot of confidence as well. I improved my verbal skills as I gave presentations on the research work I did and that  simultaneously helped me acquire a lot of knowledge about various AI tools which I never knew existed.I worked on researching about free AI sites that is on resume builders, interview guides, personality sites etc. and then turned them into videos which were later uploaded on YouTube.

To conclude, I would like to say that my overall experience there was amazing.I definitely have gained a lot of positive traits from my time there and it has been great interning there.”

Work Exposure Program

The Work Exposure Programme (WEP) is an opportunity for students to learn about different work areas and develop the understanding required to succeed in those professions. The WEP offers students carefully curated opportunities for students to work in a professional setting for 6-8 weeks and gain real-time experience on what it takes to succeed in the workplace. They also learn to take on challenges, meet deadlines and exceed expectations at a young age. They also understand nuances of the professional environment, such as teamwork, time management, discipline, decision-making, networking and more.

In 2023, students were offered over 130 internship opportunities with leading organisations in Bengaluru. From design internships to social experiences, our students came out with wonderful reflections on what it means to be in the workplace. Upon the anvil is the distribution of stationery, textbooks, and notebooks, conducting competitions, workshops, and sports events, entertaining them by screening movies, creating social awareness and providing them with basic amenities like restrooms. This is but a humble beginning that will surely make a huge difference in the lives of these little children.
