I Swapnil Datta from 1st PU, CMR National PU College along with my peers had a campus tour to Dell Technologies. It was an amazing and fruitful experience because we are visiting a corporate office for the first time. I would like to appreciate Mr. Partha and team for conducting such an interactive and an amazing workshop for us.
My key takeaways are-
Motivational speech by Mr. Swami. We understood what Dell Tech. exactly does apart from manufacturing laptops. We got to know about various technologies and latest demands in the world of IT. We were also taught that how we can create or build products with customer experience.
· We then had a visit to the Datacenter, Command center and the Storage units. We came to know how and where the information is stored and how it is accessed.
· We also had a visit to the Aquamarine building, where we visited the pivotal labs and saw how people work together rather than sitting in individual blocks. We were then showed about the smart cities and how it should work. We also saw the different kinds of technology that Dell is using it to make such software.
