Our Story

The CMR Group of Institutions, a well-established and respected educational conglomerate, has been a cornerstone of academic excellence in Bangalore for over 35 years. With a diverse community of over 20,000 students from more than 60 countries, CMR has established a wide range of institutions for higher education and schools. As part of its commitment to fostering academic excellence, CMR founded CMR National Pre University College, ITPL, in 2014, furthering its mission to empower students and drive societal growth through education.

Leadership

Ms. Rajini Josephine Ashok
Principal

Ms Rajini Ashok is the principal of CMR PU ITPL, With 13 years of experience in the educational environment. Before Ekya, she was the Quality Head at Whitefield Global School, Bangalore and served as the Academic Coordinator at Vydehi School of Excellence, Bangalore. At CMR PU ITPL she works towards building community between students and teachers, focuses on the delivery of quality education and coordinates with other schools to implement the best practices and CCE pattern. Ms. Rajini holds a B.Sc in Chemistry with a B.Ed in Physical Science and Mathematics and an MA in Literature. She is a state-level Shuttle Badminton player.

Ms. G Parvathy Rajan
Academic Coordinator

Ms Parvathy Rajan is the Academic Coordinator at CMR PU College. With over a decade of experience in education, she has taught at both college and school levels. She joined CMR PU after serving on various educational boards, including IGCSE and ICSE. Ms. Parvathy's expertise includes team management and fostering inclusive classrooms through differentiated teaching approaches. She believes in an education system that focuses on academic excellence and nurtures students to be socially and emotionally resilient. She holds a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering and has completed the CIDTL. Additionally, she possesses teaching and learning certifications from Cambridge University.

Ms Vinanthi Gopalakrishna
CCA Coordinator

Ms Vinanthi Gopalakrishna is an accomplished educator and academic leader with over seven years of experience as the Head of the Department of Botany at Sri Venkataramana Swamy Degree College, Bantwal. She provided strong academic leadership, mentored students and faculty, and contributed significantly to departmental growth through effective teaching and administration. She has research experience at SSSIHMS, where she worked on a cellphone-based point-of-care diagnostic device to evaluate the Effect of Alternative therapeutic Intervention on Depression & Heart Ailments. Currently, she serves as the CCA Coordinator and Administrative Manager, playing a key role in student development, co-curricular excellence, and institutional operations. She holds an M.Sc. in Biotechnology and a B.Ed. with pedagogy in Biology and English. Trained in Carnatic classical music, she advocates holistic education that nurtures intellectual, emotional, and creative growth.

Dr. Balasubramanian Sathyamurthy
Vice Principal

Dr. Balasubramanian Sathyamurthy is a seasoned academic leader and administrator with over 24 years of distinguished experience in higher education, institutional governance, and quality management systems. He has held key leadership positions including Principal, Principal In-Charge, Professor, and Head of Department, and has consistently demonstrated excellence in strategic planning, academic leadership, student administration, and profit-centre operations. He has played a critical role in the establishment, affiliation, accreditation, and successful operation of institutions across State Board, Pre-University, Degree, Engineering, and Medical education streams. A certified ISO 9001:2008 Technical Expert associated with TÜV Rheinland (India) Pvt. Ltd., Dr. Balasubramanian S has conducted audits for over 400 educational institutions, making significant contributions to quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement frameworks. An accomplished biochemist and researcher, he has published over 70 peer-reviewed scientific papers, mentored university rank-holding students, and actively participated in national and international academic and research forums.

School Timings

Mondays and Tuesdays: 8:00 AM – 2:50 PM
Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays: 8:00 AM – 12:40 PM
Saturdays: 8:00 AM – 12:10 PM

Transportation

Buses for the students are run in most of the major routes. Students availing the service have to pay the fee in advance. Students are not allowed to change their bus route on any day without prior information. The college runs buses to various locations ranging from AECS Layout, Kundalahalli, Marathahalli, Kagadasapura, Indira Nagar, Kasturi Nagar, and Ramamurthy Nagar.
