Our Story

The CMR Group of Institutions, managed by the CMR Jnanadhara Trust, is a distinguished educational conglomerate based in Bangalore with a legacy of over 35 years. It includes a wide array of institutes for higher education and schools, serving a diverse community of over 20,000 students from more than 60 countries. Introducing pre-university education as part of its commitment to academic excellence, CMR established CMR National PU College, HRBR Layout, in 1999. This institution honours the vision of Sri Chikkamuniyappa Reddy, emphasising education as a catalyst for societal growth and development.

Maj Neethasha Hebbar K (Retd.)
Principal
Maj. Neethasha Hebbar K (Retd.) is a distinguished former officer of the Indian Army, having served in the Army Educational Corps with postings in Uri and Bikaner, as well as at the Officers Training Academy in Chennai and the Indian Military Academy in Dehradun. Currently, she is the Associate Principal of CMR National PU College, HRBR Layout, following her roles as CCA and Sports Coordinator at Daffodils English School and Vice Principal at Army Public School in Fatehgarh, UP. Her leadership is shaped by the discipline and values instilled during her military service, which she aims to impart to her students for their holistic development. Maj. Hebbar emphasizes the importance of traditional teaching methods while remaining adaptable to change and believes in building trust through effective communication to foster student growth and success at CMR. A teacher’s greatest success is measured not by the lessons they teach, but by the hearts they inspire.

Mr. Paranjyothi Swamy
Vice Principal
Mr. Paranjyothi Swamy has a notable career in education, fueled by his passion for nurturing young minds. He graduated from Sri Kottureswara College and earned a B.Ed. from MLMN College of Education, later completing his MA in Kannada from Dharwad University. Beginning his teaching career in 2002 at a small school in Mysore, he joined Rajarajeswari High School in 2003 as a Kannada teacher. In 2007, he became part of the CMR family, contributing significantly to the Kannada department over 12 years. In 2018, he transitioned to the Ekya Learning Center as a curriculum developer, where his innovative approach enriched student learning experiences. Promoted to Vice Principal of CMR National PU College, HRBR Campus, in August 2023, Mr. Swamy continues to emphasize collaboration and innovation in education, inspiring both students and staff while streamlining the Kannada curriculum and fostering academic excellence.
Ms. Roopa Devdutt Gore
CCA Coordinator
Roopa holds a B.Sc in Electronics from Karnataka University and a B.Ed from Singhania University, along with Nursery Teachers Training and certification as an Apple Teacher specializing in digital professional development. With over 20 years in the education sector, she has shaped young minds in various roles, starting as a pre-nursery teacher and advancing to Head of Department and Co-Curricular Activities and Sports Coordinator. Roopa emphasizes discipline and holistic student development as vital to enriching educational experiences. She is dedicated to enhancing student engagement, promoting teacher development, and fostering community partnerships to create a well-rounded learning environment.

Ms. Savitha N
Academic Coordinator
Ms Savitha is a passionate, organised, motivated, enthusiastic educator with a commitment to the academic growth and holistic development of every student.She has been in the field of education for the last 22 years. Ms Savitha has done her MSc. in Chemistry, a degree in BEd and holds an undergraduate degree from Bangalore University.

Ms Savitha has effortlessly transitioned into a leadership role where she uses her past experience and has excelled in putting forth a congruent and sophisticated academic plan for the teachers and students each Academic year.The role also entails dealing with issues brought up by students,teachers and parents and resolving these with diplomatic and strategic approach and of course with a smile.

School Timings & Transportation

Buses for the students are run in most of the major routes. Students availing the service have to pay the fee in advance. Students are not allowed to change their bus route on any day without prior information. The college runs buses to various locations ranging from AECS Layout, KundalaHalli, Marathahalli, Kagadasapur, Banaswadi, Horamavu, Indira Nagar, Kasturi Nagar and Ramamurthy Nagar
