GRADUATION DAY
Our graduation day was held at CMR NPS campus in the month of February. It was an evening filled with excitement and joy. It is truly an unforgettable day in every student’s life. The galleries were occupied by the graduating students, their parents took pride in being part of a momentous occasion in their child’s life.
The ceremony started off with a spiritual song which was sung by our juniors and the College Anthem was rendered by the student council. Ms. Angel Paul, the Vice Principal CMR NPUC HRBR welcomed the gathering and shared the Annual Report. There were few amazing speeches given by the passing out students. Few parents of the graduating batch shared their valuable thoughts. One of the parents spoke about why he thought CMR NPUC was the right place for educating his son and all the positive outcomes that he received from it.
‘THE STUDENT OF THE YEAR’ was given to Krithik Gopinath in the science stream and Ashwin Subash in the commerce stream. The chief guest for the evening was Ms.Lizzie chapman who gave an inspiring speech about women. She had positive energy which lit up the entire place.
The captains were called on the stage for the lighting of the candle and to take the oath for one last time. Right after candle lighting, every student’s aspiration was read out. The rendering of the National Anthem brought the event to a close.
The students were clicking pictures with their parents, teachers, and friends. Everyone enjoyed the delicious mouth-watering spread of food. It’s funny how everyone walked in happy but left with tears rolling down their cheek. It showed the bonding of the students with CMR NPUC and their peers.
EDUCATION DOESN’T STOP THE DAY YOU GRADUATE. IT IS JUST THE BEGINNING.
